Our Lexus of Southport Encore Owners had a short drive North on the highway to the beautiful Links Hope Island Golf Course for the 2022 edition of the annual Golf Tournament.
This is the first year that our Lexus of Brisbane Group Dealerships have had an independent Golf Day, and it was well received with over 120 golfers participating in the Tournament and Beginner Clinics.

A highlight of the day was Stanley Restaurant Head Chef and Lexus of Brisbane Group Ambassador, Louis Tikaram’s signature Prawn Dumplings on the 9th hole. In amongst the wallabies on the course, we also had Ash measuring the ‘Smash Factor’ on the 2nd hole, PCYC Nerang on the 11th determining the golfers ball speed, and the Leukaemia Foundation on the very challenging 17th hole. Golfers were able to earn their team a ‘hole-in-one’ by making an important donation to the cause, raising $2,772 - where these vital funds could help provide 35 nights of accommodation free of charge as a ‘home away from home’ for regional or rural families who have to relocate to the city to be close to the life-saving blood cancer treatment for a loved one.

We were also joined by some very special guests, the Southport Sharks, who proudly sponsored by Lexus of Southport. They had a great time out on the course as they prepare for Finals Footy.
Golfers returned from their 18th hole and the Beginner’s Clinic to enjoy a beautiful buffet dinner, where the tension was high before the winners were announced. Congratulations to Lesley, Gordon, Russell and Jane who took out the title, and will progress to compete against other Lexus of Brisbane Group dealership winners in the Gordon Scifleet Tournament.
