AN EXCITING PREVIEW OF THE FUTURE OF LEXUS

LF-Gh CONCEPT VEHICLE

The future direction of Lexus, as showcased by the LF-Gh concept vehicle, will become a reality with the New Generation GS.

A 2011 World Debut

The Lexus LF-Gh (Lexus Future Luxury Sports Hybrid) Concept made its world debut at the 2011 New York International Auto Show. The unveiling of this concept vehicle revealed a bold new design direction for future Lexus vehicles, with Lexus' L finesse design philosophy setting new standards for what a luxury sports sedan could be.

The luxury sports sedan redefined

The LF-Gh has been designed as an evolution of a luxury sports sedan, where dynamic performance and a luxurious interior combine to carry passengers in comfort over long distances.

The needs of the driver have been explored in detail resulting in a high-visibility instrument panel and intuitive centre console, while the generous cabin provides space for four occupants. The LF-Gh has been finished to the finest standards using high quality materials.

The entirely new GS luxury sports sedan marks a turning point in the history of Lexus.

Distinctly different

In addition to the commanding spindle-shaped grille, the designers have created distinctive boomerang LED tail lamps, with intricate reflectors set behind all-red lenses. The deep front bumper adds to the sense of movement and a low centre of gravity, while the raised bonnet hints at the power and performance contained within.

Factor in the multi dual spoke 20 inch wheels, subtle chrome trim elements in the bumper, exhaust and diffuser, LED headlamps and L-shaped LED daytime running lights, and the LF-Gh is a vehicle that stands apart.

Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive

The LF-Gh is powered by the technologically advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive, ensuring the optimum blend of performance, efficiency and environmental compatibility.

Kengo Matsumoto, General Manager, Lexus Design Division said, "Although only a concept, we hope the LF-Gh will resonate with our customers worldwide, and communicate our intention to once again advance ideas about the face of Lexus luxury in the years to come."

The needs of the driver have been explored in detail resulting in a high-visibility instrument panel and intuitive centre console, while the generous cabin provides space for four occupants.
